Refund Policy
Last updated: 24 May 2026 (rev. 2)
The short version
Every plan is a one-time payment — nothing auto-renews, nothing to cancel. Refund terms differ by plan because each one costs us differently. The Founder Pass is fully refundable for 3 days from purchase. The 90-day Season Pass and 30-Day Pass are refundable for 7 days if you haven’t used AI marking on any question yet. The rest of this page explains how to actually claim a refund and the rare exceptions.
1. Founder Pass — $19 for 2 years
3 days from purchase, no questions asked. Email us within 3 days of your payment and we’ll refund in full, no questions, no “tell us what went wrong”.
Beyond 3 days the pass is generally non-refundable — by then we’ve almost certainly accrued some AI compute against your account. We’ll still consider individual cases on a goodwill basis if something legitimately broke (extended outage on our end, data loss, etc.); email us and we’ll talk.
2. Season Pass — $9 for 90 days
Full refund within 7 days of purchase, on one condition: you haven’t submitted any answers for AI marking yet. Once you’ve had even one answer marked, we’ve incurred AI compute costs that we can’t recover, so the pass is non-refundable after that point.
Viewing worked solutions and browsing questions does not count as “using” the pass — only submitting an answer to the AI marker does. If you bought the pass, tried it for two days without submitting anything, and decided it’s not for you: you still get a refund.
3. 30-Day Pass — $4.99 one-time
Same rule as the Season Pass — full refund within 7 days of purchase if you haven’t submitted any answers for AI marking yet. Once you’ve had even one answer marked, the pass is non-refundable because we’ve already paid for the AI compute.
The 30-Day Pass does not auto-renew. When the 30 days end, your access simply stops. Buy another pass to continue, or upgrade to a Season Pass or Founder Pass — we credit any unused time against the upgrade price.
4. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] from the address on your account, with the subject line Refund request and your order ID (from the payment receipt email).
You don’t need to give a reason for refunds inside the qualifying window above. If you want to give us feedback though, we’ll take it — that’s how the product gets better.
Refunds are processed within 2–3 business days on our end. Your payment provider then returns the money to your original payment method, which typically appears within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
5. Outside the standard windows
If your circumstances fall outside the windows above — extended illness, family emergency, a billing error you didn’t catch in time — email us anyway. We read every refund request and grant most reasonable ones. We’re a small team and we’d rather refund a real edge case than have it festering on your credit-card statement.
6. Chargebacks
Please email us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. A chargeback costs us a fixed fee (often 3–5× the transaction value) and freezes the disputed amount for weeks while it’s investigated. We’d much rather just refund you directly. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in your account being permanently blocked from re-purchasing.
7. Statutory rights
This policy is in addition to — not instead of — any consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence. If your local law gives you broader refund rights than this policy, those rights prevail.
8. Payment processor
Payments and refunds are handled by our payment provider: Creem (creem.io), acting as our Merchant of Record. As Merchant of Record, Creem is the seller of record for the transaction; we initiate your refund and Creem returns the funds to your original payment method (typically within 5–10 business days). See our Terms of Service for the full payment-processor relationship.
